Abstract

The curriculum is a product of the time, it has always been a representation of passion of time. The existence of curriculum evaluation plays a strategic role to find out the practical relevance of the curriculum and spirit of the times. The curriculum evaluation can determine not only whether the curriculum can contribute to prepare students to survive but also whether the curriculum is able to equip learners to live a noble life. Actually, the evaluation of the curriculum has not received sufficient attention from both academics and practitioners of education in developing countries, including in Indonesia. Efforts to understand and spread awareness about the significance of curriculum evaluation in reformulation of education policy are prerequisites in the improvement of education. This paper aims to conduct a literature review to give a spotlight on the dynamics of curriculum evaluation praxis.
