Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kestabilan koefisien reliabilitas hasil pengukuran skala sikap berdasarkan skor komposit resonden yang dihasilkan oleh analisis komponen utama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah disain eksperimen satu faktor. Populasi penelitian terdiri atas 2000 siswa, yaitu 1000 siswa
dinyatakan sebagai populasi homogen dan 1000 siswa lainnya dinyatakan sebagai populasi heterogen. Dengan mengunakan uji-F dihitung ada tidaknya perbedaan varians dari kedua populasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan varians koefisien reliabilitas yang dihasilkan oleh analisis komponen utama, antara populasi homogen dan populasi heterogen. Dengan demikian, pendekatan analisis komponen utama menghasilkan koefisien reliabilitas hasil pengukuran skala sikap yang bersifat konsisten.
